I decided to pull this list off of my "Books Read" thread, to reduce the clutter there. Sticking it in the 2021 75 Bookers Group.
I'm read/watched/listened to33 74 courses at this point. They're all different; some I've liked more than others, but I've learned from all of them.

68. Great Tours: Washington, D.C. by Richard Kurin (The Smithsonian)
I really enjoyed this "Great Course"--although I felt pangs of sadness all the way through for how the look and feel of Washington DC appears to have changed with Trump's second go-round as president. I focused on what Kurin was showing me, Washington at its best, with no fake police and with good intentions for those in need and true patriotism. We must have faith that our government will be like this once again, even better.
The course was really good, with coverage of not only the buildings and government entities, but culture, sports, the natural surroundings, so much more. One of the best features was the use of guests, like Colin Powell, YoYo Ma, Jose Andres (my personal hero), a few others. I felt like a real insider.
24 lectures, about 30 minutes each, 12 hours total. Book and DVDs.

70. Sex in the Middle Ages (Great Courses) by Jennifer McNabb
I couldn’t resist viewing this course, especially after my recent viewing of Game of Thrones. This course has 12 lectures, no book. McNabb shares the teaching with four other professors, each with particular specialties and approaches to the topic material. I found the course interesting and illuminating.
There was no book in the set, so I'm not including it in my "books read" list, but I will include it on my "Great Courses" thread.

71. Understanding the Quantum World (Great Course) by Erica W. Carlson
Reassuring words from the cover: “uses analogies to everyday life” and “is an accessible introduction.”
All finished! My brain was stretched, bended, often blown! Nevertheless, I persisted, learned a lot, and had a bit of fun.
24 lectures, about 30 minutes each, 12 hours total. Book and DVDs.

72. The Power of Thought Experiments by Daniel Breyer
24 lectures, about 30 minutes each, 12 hours total. Book and DVDs.
Worthwhile course of study, but it was difficult to work through. Breyer is a good teacher, and the material was interesting.

Excellent and illuminating exploration of American history and literature, all in the context of various geographical areas of the U.S.
There was no book, just the DVDs, so I'm not including this one in my "books read" but will put it on my Great Courses list.
