Who is your favorite character and why?

Definitely, hands down, BUSTER.

It pretty much changes depending on what I'm watching, but I've had a soft spot for GOB, cause I'm the oldest too.

Welcome Lizzie!

My first thought was Michael, but I couldn't think why. I will go with George Michael!

Hi Lizzie!

George Michael would probably be second choice, but I don't know if it's the character, or Michael Cera....Cera is awesome!

God, its so hard to choose. I love Maeby so much - she is just so weird, even in a family of weirdos. I loved when she got a job as a film exec.

Welcome Fanny!

I was always very envious of that job. Ooh, I just remembered a book!

I walk around telling people to "Marry me!" (or alternately, "babysit me!") all the time. No really, I do.

But my favorite character has to be Buster.

"Unlimited juice? This party is gonna be off the hook."

I think the underdog is Lucille (one). She plays her part so well, I forget that she's acting. The lines she gets are so close to being a *real* terrible human, it's amazing.

yeah, I think my favorite would have to be lucille, although admittedly that was a tough choice to make since I love them all :)

Buster. Always & forever Buster.

Hi everyone! I just discovered this group by accident and did a little dance of excitement in my head (I'm at work and actual dancing is sadly not an option).

My favourite character is Lucille Two. Every time I get dizzy I say "I'm OK. I'm just having an attack of the dizzies". It then cheers me up a little and makes me feel not so dizzy anymore.

I also have a soft spot for Tobias. He's so sweet and clueless.

I picked up the habit of saying "stable as a table".

Ha! I forgot about that one MrAndrew. I'm giggling away to myself now.

My favourite quote about Lucille Two is when Buster can't see her properly because he's not wearing his glasses and he says : "That's what you do when life hands you a chance to be with someone special. You just grab that brownish area by its points and you don't let go no matter what your mom says."

It kind of made me want to get my hair cut short so I too could be described as a brownish area with points :-)

I am going to have to agree with Post 11!

Buster "I was made to understand there were grilled cheese sandwiches here" Bluth!

Why Buster? It's really so difficult in terms of AD when every regular and every guest character is so imminently quotable and memorable but I have decided that I can quantify my Buster love and call it out it explicitly. Frankly, it's because everything about his Motherboy relationship with Lucille (and Lucille II. . .and the Roomba!) is just so fundamentally W-R-O-N-G you gotta revel in and respect the perversion of it all! I certainly loved Buster when he was all human in just the same way Army loved him and I still loved him even when he became "half machine!"

This thread is making me smile. I think it's time to get out the DVDs and revisit this gem of a show.

George Michael for the win!
