How long does it take for an import to process?

I went through the import process and it seemed to go fine, I was told I'd get a profile message when it was done. But it's been over an hour and nothing has shown up. It's under 300 books. Is this normal? I tried again, which perhaps I shouldn't have done... again, no dice.

I'm surprised it's been years since anyone asked this, but I'm in the same boat. I uploaded a measly 9 books to test out the import feature, and it never actually sent me a notification. I attempted on DuckDuckGo and Chrome. Neither one of those made a difference. I tried using the Import from a File option first, specifically a CSV. That didn't work. I tried using the Paste Text option, and scanned in a handful of ISBN's. That didn't work either :-( I'd like to figure this one out, as it's kind of a pain to manage thousands of books one at a time.

No idea what your problem is, but the import queue has to be kicked now and again. There are frequently topics on this.

Do check that your file matches the sample exactly. That is a common problem.
