Piranesi by Susanna Clarke has won this year’s Women’s Prize for Fiction.

Thoughts? Did you read it? Will you read it?

I put a hold on it at the library, but it does not sound like my cup of tea. I'll have a look though and see. It sounds rather strange and not really in my wheelhouse.

I loved the world building she did, and I loved the first half, trying to figure out what was going on. It felt like such a big build up that the second half was bound to be a let down, but I still really enjoyed it!

I've been back and forth on this one but I think I'm going to give it a try. Apparently there are allusions to Narnia, which might be kinda fun
