Okay 2021 I finished 51 books which I’m happy with. I moved from Texas to Chicago and started a new job, got the kids in new schools etc. So lots of changes. I’d like to hit 60 again if I can. Audiobooks help a lot.

Nanostrike by Pete Barber. Got this years ago on my kindle. Probably for free finally read it and it wasn’t bad. Saved it so I could finish it Jan. 1st and start the year off right.

Leviathan Wakes by James SA Corey. The first book in the series that The Expanse is based off of. Enjoy the series so thought I’d read the books. Audiobook.
5Madcow299
Holy Disunity by Layton E. Williams . A book on how a church in disagreement continues to be together. And how stay 'divided' in different churches and beliefs might be a good thing for the church.
6Madcow299
Fellowship of The Ring by JRR Tolkien. A new audio version read by Andy Serkis which I am enjoying so far.
8Madcow299
Clash of Kings by George RR Martin. A favorite I like to re-listen to now and then.
9Madcow299
Eye of the World by Robert Jordan. Liked the series on Amazon and been meaning to try the books.
10Madcow299
Surprise the World by Michael Frost. A book on evangelism and church life that I'd been wanting to read for a while.
11Madcow299
Voices of Chernobyl by Svetlana Alexievich. First hand stories from those who lived around Chernobyl when it exploded and dealt with the literal and figurative fallout
12Madcow299
All Who Are Weary: Easing the Burden by Emmy Kegler. I've had to go back and forth to this one because it hits close to home. But it was excellent.
13Madcow299
Atlas of the Heart by Brene Brown. A look as being able to better name our emotions in order to better understand them and ourselves. I usually enjoy her speaking and writing
14Madcow299
The Brothers York: An English Tragedy by Thomas Penn. Mildly interesting history of English Kings. I'm kind of disappointed to be honest. Not sure I'll finish it.
15Madcow299
Gone To The Woods by Gary Paulsen. I have not read anything by him since Hatchet in middle school. But I figure it's worth trying.
16Madcow299
Atlas of the Heart by Brene Brown. It was okay, I feel like she is getting a little repetitive but this one explored different emotions and their definitions which was helpful.
17Madcow299
Mountains Beyond Mountains by Tracy Kidder. A good biography about Paul Farmer. Enjoyed it.
18Madcow299
The Nineties by Chuck Klosterman. New book I wanted to check out. This was a spectacular book.
19Madcow299
There is No God and Mary is His Mother. Came back and finished this one today. Really good.
20Madcow299
A Storm of Swords by George R.R. Martin. An old favorite to listen to again.
21Madcow299
A Dance of Dragons by George R.R. Martin. Listening to the last available book in the series waiting for book 6 that may never come
22Madcow299
Fat, Crazy & Tired by Van Lathan Jr. Love his podcasts and looking forward to hearing his book.
23Madcow299
The Pastor in the Secular Age by Andrew Root. Part of a series of outstanding books he has written.
24Madcow299
The Ministry For The Future by Kim Stanley Robinson. Never read the author but came high recommended by friends.
