Kingsbridge series, chronological and published, need both?

Do we really need a Kingsbridge series for chronological and published order? If one clicks on publication order on the Kingsbridge {Chronological Order} series, one gets the published order. I thought that was supposed to be one of the perks of the new series system.

There were comments regarding how this wasn't working correctly because of the original publication date calculation or something, so we had decided to keep both until such time as that was corrected... If I remember correctly. I'm sure someone else will chime in with the latest on it.
This is the same issue as with the Series Names, where if there were more than one series with the same name, we were still putting the author last name in the series name but in {} so they wouldn't screw up touch stones, because there was no obvious way to distinguish them when searching or from the initial touchstone set up.

>1 al.vick: It was supposed to be a perk of the new system, but the publication date sorting is often wildly inaccurate. You just happened to have found one of the series where it works as intended.
There are also many members who are only interested in publication order and feel it's unfair that they have to take an extra step every time they look at a series--and that step may not even provide the desired results.
