I'll try again, I don't have much planned for this weekend.
I have some library books I'd like to get on with.

Yes, please! I just brought home an armful from the library and need to finish a couple I've been working on.

I will be traveling this weekend, but I will be listening to, and reading books along the way, so I will check in when I can with my reports about what I have read.

We are under a winter storm watch for Friday night into Saturday so I am in. I did my Saturday errands today so I will not have to leave home if we really do get bad weather.

I am in. Like Carrie, we are under winter weather advisories here on Friday, expecting snow and wintry mix. Sounds like a good reason to do nothing but read!

In again. Reading will be a nice break from working on our taxes!

We've been upgraded to a winter storm warning. The forecast for my area is 1-2 inches. Fingers crossed that the power stays on.
ETA it's supposed to be very windy with this storm and the wind could take down power lines.

I'm listening to an audiobook on the way home, and I need to finish a book before our book club meets Sunday night. Since I may be snowed in after I get home, I'll hopefully at least have those two finishes. I've also got another book for a group read on my Kindle.

>1 SilverWolf28: me!
I should be finishing up These Old Shades this weekend, and have other books in the queue.
Other activities for the weekend include cleaning my aquarium's canister filter and hanging wooden blinds in my bedroom. They're replacing the vinyl blinds my kitten has destroyed! 😳

Late night Friday
Book: Go tell the bees that I am gone.
Dinner: tacos, cookies for dessert.
Other activity:
Thought I'd start reading early but I started cooking and made turkey/vegetable soup and baked lemon nut bread for a friend just home from the hospital. My husband made supper and I had the 2 young grandies to play with, read to, and put to bed. Their dad came home sick, so kids might be my job for the weekend. Their mom is away through Sunday.

These Old Shades by Georgette Heyer
I've read and enjoyed other books by this author before, but this one started a lot slower than I'd expected, and I put it down after about 60 pages. When I determined to give it another chance I was rewarded with an interesting and enjoyable story, a cut above most books of the genre, with less melodramatic breast-beating and angst so common with other authors. Definitely recommended.
