I agree in regards to George Marshall, but I would rate Dwight Eisenhower or Chester Nimitz ahead of Henry Stimson as an indispensable U.S. military leader in World War II.

Outstanding book on General Marshall: George Marshall: Defender of the Republic by David L. Roll

Soon to be Published Books on Admiral Nimitz:

Mastering the Art of Command: Admiral Chester W. Nimitz and Victory in the Pacific by Trent Hone

Nimitz at War: Command Leadership from Pearl Harbor to Tokyo Bay by Craig L. Symonds

Written by you, evidently. Touting your own book on LT is just not on. In fact, it's expressly forbidden.
