If it has not already been done, perhaps a quondam "discussion symphony" could be formed by those who play an instrument?
As for me, I would prefer either playing flute / piccolo, but if need be I could saw a fair second violin, or quack some third oboe.

My one claim to fame is having performed the piccolo obligatto in Stars & Stripes Forever about 30,000 times over the course of 40 or so years (and one of those times having to transpose down a flat, off the cuff, to accomadate that group, the pikers).
My one claim to infamy is striking an F# on the final beautiful chord of a Christmas medley (instead of the written f natural) and to make it worse, on the second oboe, and Lord to it sound AWFUL.
Other than that, I leave it others to lead.
