I'm participating. Last night I began Danger on the Atlantic by Erica Ruth Neubauer, the latest in the Jane Wunderley series. I had an ebook arrive by Overdrive/Libby that I need to begin. I'll also read my usual devotional stuff. I also need to start the book for our book club. I think I downloaded that for Kindle before I left home. If not, I won't get that started until next week. Still at my brother's house. I cooked steak, baked potatoes, and prepared a salad for everyone last night--including my nephew and his wife who came over to play games and such. We even got my brother to join the games!

Am reading this weekend, though I've slowed down a bit in the last few days and the heatwave is now back, and I'm hoping to venture out for a bit tomorrow afternoon.

Aiming to have tea and write a review first.

I don't think I'll finish any books this month but I should be well set to do so in August.

Weekend wrap-up

Books:
Finished Dance for the Dead by Thomas Perry.
Invisible Child: Poverty, Survival & Hope in an American City (Pulitzer Prize Winner) by Andrea Elliott

Dinner last night was rather boring leftovers,
but we're going out for dinner today after we go see the movie Mrs Harris Goes to Paris.
I intended to read the book first but had to return to library before I could get to it. : \

Other activity:
postcrossing, planning road trips!
Watched the new Netflix movie, Persuasion with Dakota Johnson. : )

Finished 5 books in July. Only 1 was from TBR shelves.
The one I finished last night was just after midnight so I have to count it in Aug.

Mostly sunny, 79 F. (26 C.) at noon
