I know, it's a week premature. But I am getting a little irked with myself for not making more progress on the TBRs, I keep getting sidetracked. So I thought if I set my September reading list now, it'll give me a nudge into reading consistently.
From the top of my drawer I picked out:
In Defence Of Dogs by John Bradshaw
A Minor Adjustment by Andy Merriman
Watching the Wheels (autobiography) by Damon Hill
Let's see if I read them all by 30th September.

I'm going to try again to read 4 TBR books, even though I didn't make it in August. Here's hoping.

>1 Spartaca: Thank you for starting the September thread! I've just returned from 10 days in England and, in addition to the usual souvenirs (including some books!), I seem to have brought home Covid. I'm doing OK as symptoms have been relatively mild, and now that I'm isolating at home, I finally have time to catch up with LT forums!
A new roundabout book arrived, so that will be top priority for September. I'm also hoping to read at least one of my ABC books.

>3 mathgirl40: Sorry to hear you've gotten the plague. Take care of yourself and enjoy the down time.

>4 gypsysmom: Thanks! My husband and I are doing much better now, though I can't say I've recovered completely. Still feeling tired and coughing a bit, but there is improvement every day.

As for September's progress, I just finished my roundabout book and sent it off to the next reader when the latest one arrived. I also finished an Inspector Morse novel, The Dead of Jericho, which I'd bought while vacationing in England. (In fact, the bookshop in Oxford was very close to Jericho, where the novel is set!) I will be registering and releasing this book soon.
