Have you read a worthwhile book that was not published by a major house? Maybe it was targeted at a local audiance or dealt with an obscure subject. Perhaps it was a masterpiece that really should not have been overlooked by the major publishers. Then again it might once have been published by them and has since been reprinted by the author when the rights reverted to him.

Perhaps On the other hand you have encountered some incredibly bad piece of dreck that you want to warn us away from. Or perhaps you just want to laugh at it. The major publishers project a glitzy image But there are plenty of people who pump gas and wait on tables that still mqanager to get their book out. This group is dedicatedto them. Todays Hopefulls and just occasionally Tommorrows stars.

I`m in - but you may have to be patient with my English Midlander Luddite tendencies !

I really hate writing a post and having it disappear, especially when I forget to copy it first!!!!!!

Now that I've gotten that out of the way, I'll try this again.

My name is Jenine Wilson and I've self-published a YA novel called The Shadow Within, which I could actually touchstone before my post disappeared. No one has yet said that my book is horrible, at least not to my face.

There is also a novel called The Dragon's Heart by Caitlin Tara NicNubill put out by Publish America I am planning to buy. The book is a bit pricey so I'm waiting for Christmas. I know it's a shot in the dark, but has anyone read this book?

I love to talk about books in general and finding Librarything was a wonderful thing :-) I also want to thank you for creating this group. I hope it draws a lot of interest.
