Hello everyone...
I'm new here! I was very surprised to find this group existed. I just finished reading People Patterns: A Modern Guide to the Four Temperaments by: Stephen Montgomery. He illustrates the different temperaments by referencing characters in North American pop culture.
I was wondering if anybody had a favorite character (in books or movies) that they suspected is an NF (Idealist).
I made a decision to watch more Star Trek: Deep Space Nine because I found out Benjamin Sisko is the only NF Star Trek captain!
Neat!

This is not a very active group (are we all too busy reading and sleeping?). The general Myers-Briggs group is a lot more active. I did have a brief discussion over there on West Wing which sort of came to the conclusion that Toby from West Wing is an INFJ. The Pygmalion Project. The Idealist has Jane Eyre as an INFJ. I'm not sure about Sisko - I love DS9 - my favourite Star trek series because everything is not reset at the end of an episode and it has the most brilliant support characters in Dukat, General Martok etc. I think Sisko is definately introverted and judging and feeling but I'm not sure about intuitive - soldiers are generally sensing. I think his son Jake may be INFJ.
Just thought of another possibility - Daniel Jackson in Stargate SG1 - he certainly satisfies the curiosity and wanting to change the universe criteria. Back when the series began he was the moral voice of the group.
