Any thoughts on how the President intending treating his wife?

He kept his word, the responsible person will suffer. She wanted immortality now it looks like she got her wish, but not the way she thought it would be.

He’s evoking his revenge on Teresa.

This is quite vengeful, even given the circumstances - to intend to keep her alive and suffering like that “year after year after year”.
