I've cruised through many of the posts but have no clue as to whether my query has already been asked so I'm posting it in a new thread.
This is a time travel romance book. I thought the author was Christina Dodd but I've searched her books and didn't find it. It is set in medieval Scotland. She is from the US, i think a widow or was married, i think husbands name was James. Not sure how she ends up back in time. She is found in the woods, and ends up with the laird of the manor but she fights the relationship because she is still in mourning. Only other thing that I can recall is a sex scene where she pisses him off and takes off up the stairs. He chases and does catch up with her. Probably a book from late 1990's?
