This is a rather quiet group for the most part. (I assume because most of us are trying to write, rather than spending time here.) But I'm looking at the very vague description and the scattered topics and realized something. The subject matter is very open.
So what are people looking for from this group?
Writing advice? Reading/reviewing threads of books on writing? Plot deconstruction?
Literary discussion in the form of criticisms? (No wait. That would be the Snobs group.)
While we await the selection of an admin, lets talk about what we want.

I lurk far more than I post to this group, but here are a couple of thoughts based on the conversations I've monitored...
a) Brainstorming help from other writers is always helpful when you're stuck on a plot point or angle for an article.
b) Previous threads have been highly skewed toward fiction. We may be highly outnumbered, but some conversation and trade tips for writers of curriculum, promotional copy, and other forms of nonfiction might be helpful as well.
