What did you make of Reverend John Shipborne’s diary extract at the beginning of Chapter 3? Any thoughts?

Had Barnaby discovered clues to more deaths in the 14th century than could be explained by the plague?

It mentioned a ‘taste of death, a love of evil’ which possibly means following the plague someone is going round killing people in my opinion. Time will tell on this score.

I also have to agree with Andrew.

I think he is referencing a newer body being found amongst the older plague victims.

I thought it might have been related to the son, Robert du Munier, who seemed to have disappeared but may have come back
