Already quite a convoluted storyline. The Black Death. Likely a murder in the 14th century. A more modern day Murder likely, and poisonings in the supermarket. Then also the murder of the Reverend. Be interesting to see how these are all tied together.

I see that Heffernan hasn't changed any since book #1.

My first read of the series. So far confusing plot. A lot going on.

I agree that this is a convoluted storyline. Most unusually for me I started to list and describe characters as I went along as there were so many of them. The reader, never mind the police, is put under pressure as three separate(maybe) crimes are investigated.

There is a lot going on in this book and looking forward to see how it all ties together.

I’ve not had time to start part II yet, but I’m hung up on Mrs O’Donovan (Hope I’ve remembered her name correctly), the dead vicar’s cleaner who found his body.
She became very shifty when Wes and Neil came for the church key and she discovered Wes was police…

>7 Sergeirocks: She definitely needs to be a person of interest.
