Any thoughts, comments of questions on the third section? Are you any nearer knowing what has gone on?

I knew another character had to come in. We will be able to fill a stadium soon.

Some important information is being kept back from us in trying to work out this convoluted plot. I think events could relate back to the Reverend’s previous career and possibly Helen saw or knew something linked to his death.
Also intrigued by the reason for the death in the Black Death period, not too much has been made of this so far. Unless also linked to homosexuality and passing on the original Black Death in that way, and killed as revenge.

Either Stephen Wilmer did both murders;
Or, Amy Hunting killed the vicar because her son died as the result of one of his ‘trials’, (though that then leaves a question over who strangled Helen?).
