I added a new CK stat: Related Movies (https://www.librarything.com/stats/MEMBERNAME/movies) which shows the related movies linked to your catalog. It was also added to the stats overview page CK module (https://www.librarything.com/stats/MEMBERNAME/overview) with the other CK stats.
Also, per request in another talk thread, I added a table for Acquired Dates on the cataloging page (https://www.librarything.com/stats/MEMBERNAME/cataloging)

Love it!

Obligatory pony request: could one get them sorted by book rather than movie title? So that, frex, all the Dracula movies go together.
4AnnieMod
And another pony request - can we get a number of movies or books with movies somewhere (preferably both?)
5tardis
This is cool.
I do agree with >3 AndreasJ:, though. Sort by book, and I would add preferably aggregate all the related movies under the title once.
Example:
"A Dorothy L. Sayers Mystery" Gaudy Night: Episode One (1987 | IMDb)
Gaudy Night by Dorothy L. Sayers
"A Dorothy L. Sayers Mystery" Gaudy Night: Episode Three (1987 | IMDb)
Gaudy Night by Dorothy L. Sayers
Would be a lot easier to cope with if it were

Looks nifty!
Also adding my vote for a sort by book title option. Not only would it make it easier to see what movies relate to my library, it would make it easier to find and correct bad CK info (like on the The Fry Chronicles where someone has put every single movie and show mentioned in the book into the related movies field).

Neat! Thanks!
In the "date acquired" table, there is no way to click through to lists of books, unlike other tables on that page. Is that intentional?

>3 AndreasJ: Maybe keeping that as an option with the ability to switch between the two? There are series out there (and occasionally movies) which are based on more than 1 book. Seeing the books shown under the same movie title is an interesting statistics.
>1 knerd.knitter: Clicking on the title of a movie brings you to https://www.librarything.com/commonknowledge/search.php?f=37&exact=1&typ... (for one example) which is empty for every movie I clicked on which has a space in the name.
https://www.librarything.com/commonknowledge/search.php?f=37&exact=1&typ... (which does not have a space) works.
Can we please fix the escaping/usage of special characters in these links? :)

>8 Petroglyph: I don't think there is a way to search date acquired in the catalog, so you can't click through to the catalog and have it filter by those dates.

Now if only we could get people to not put in movies that are inspired by the book or movies that inspired the writing the book and only put in movies that are the book in movie form.

>3 AndreasJ: Ask and ye shall receive; sometimes, but not always, probably not mostly. But luckily I wanted to see these by work as well, so there we go.
>5 tardis: Grouping TV episodes will not actually work because the data is just a string so it doesn't know that those are connected in any way.

Looking at Brave New World by Aldous Huxley in this new system. The book has three movies listed, yet when I look at the new page, it only has one listed.
It was only listing two before I removed one that didn't qualify.

>16 gilroy: It was ignoring multiples of the same name. Fixing it.

I want to know why the related movie is listed as itself... see https://www.librarything.com/work/book/145891096 1917 was this way too, but removed it since it was referencing the movie that the work was. Do we want to list the work itself as a related movie? 50 First Dates is the same. This seems silly to me.
19amanda4242
>18 al.vick: Having a movie related to itself does look silly listed on the stats page, but having it links it to IMDb, which is handy when you need to look up extra info on the movie.
20al.vick
hmm...okay, well I guess 1917 needs to fixed then. I don't know where the numbers come from in the CK.
For example War Lord has no number next to the Last Kingdom TV series.

That's because someone didn't enter the title correctly; I've fixed it.

bug?
Cabaret is on the work page of The Berlin Stories: The Last of Mr. Norris/Goodbye to Berlin but it's not showing up under the book on the stats page.
suggestion
Have the work/movie toggle stick. I like sorting by work and would rather not have to change it every time I visit the page.

Loving the option to sort by book. I didn't know some of my books had been made into movies. Thanks for this.

>15 knerd.knitter: Rats. Oh, well. Still fun to play with.

>15 knerd.knitter: Lovely! Can you make it so that the By Movie|By Work toggle can be translated?
