Very interesting. I'm anxious to continue.

I have always liked Harry. I know I have read this one but can't remember much of the plot. >2 Olivermagnus: Glad you're able to read again, or are you listening? Or has Stanley finally learned to read?
Eadie: Where's John???

>3 Carol420: I'm here. Didn't have time to review and answer last night.

Totall engrossing and beautifully written. I love the pace of Connelly's narrative and his character drwaing. The evocation of LA is also terrifically well done.

>3 Carol420: I’ve also read this and up to book 5 but couldn’t tell you anything about it!

>3 Carol420: Stanley is still too active to enjoy reading yet. He'll be 9 months old tomorrow. He' calmed down quite a bit but when I read, he likes to shove a toy on top of my Kindle so I can throw it.
I still have some double vision but it's improved at least 75%. I have been using some prescription eye drops to reduce the inflammation. I have an eye doctor appointment on Tuesday to check. She said the lenses are in the right spot and that this happens fairly often after cataract surgery. Thank goodness for the Kindle's ability to enlarge fonts.

>8 Olivermagnus: Glad things are coming together for you. You'll have to hire someone to throw Stanley's toy while you read:) I'll volunteer for the job...oh wait...then I'd have to hire someone:)

>8 Olivermagnus: Hope things improve soon Lynda.

>8 Olivermagnus: Glad you have a new pup, Lynda! And that you've had the cataract surgery. I've heard long-term it is a huge improvement. Colors are supposed to improve a lot now that your eyes are clearer.
And this first part is very engaging and heart-wrenching.
