Why do you think Jazz removed paintings before allowing Bosch in the house?

Some of the paintings were nudes and he didn’t want Bosch to see them.

I think the pictures showed her pain (whatever that is). It seems to me that would be too personal to let a stranger see.

She knew they were a window into her soul and didn't want anyone to look through the window.

Those paintings exposed her and who she was and therefore didn’t want him to see them. The one on the bridge in particular felt very revealing about her. She is certainly an interesting character.

They were too personal to show to someone that she’d just met

I don't know why she removed them. She's a mystery to me.
