What are your thoughts on Jazz?

I think she is a good candidate for Bosch’s new girlfriend.

She reminded me of a female Harry. Two lonely ships passing each other by spending some time together. I don't see them having any sort of future.

I’m feeling vulnerability coming from her, despite an outward appearance of bravado. I’d love to know what her secrets are - and why she asked Harry about his gun. A painting of her on a bridge - does she harbour thoughts of suicide (jumping, or shooting herself), for some reason?
Connelly can’t leave this unexplained. Does Harry go back, as he promised?

She has deep emotional issues. Her self portrait in the style of Edward Munch's The Scream reflects a person lost, stressed, and threatened by their thoughts of the past. I am not up on painting so I looked up the Scream Painting and it told me a lot about JAZZ.

I’d like to see more of her in the books but don’t really see a future for them, with both the distance and I’m not sure long term she would be right for him - they both appear to have some vulnerabilities.

She’s a very interesting character, but don’t see her as a long term love interest for Harry. She’s either contemplating suicide, possibly or killed someone in the past? I think we’ll get answers about her before the end of the book.
