Bosch felt that he was going to see his mother’s killer when he went to see Conklin? Did you agree?
2Olivermagnus
I felt like Conklin was involved in some way but I never saw him as the actual killer. I can see why Harry thought that though.
3Sergeirocks
No, I’ve never really had Conklin down as Marjorie’s killer.
4JohnDBurke
No, Mittel is still my number one suspect
5EadieB
I thought he was going to see his mom’s killer but was surprised that Conklin was getting ready to marry his mom.

No - I always thought, and still do, that the killer was Mittel. However, I do worry about the “guy in the suit” that Harry saw in the hallway - one of Mittel’s henchmen?

I thought that Conklin arranged ratherthan actually committed the murder, relying on Mittel to get the dirty work done.

No didn’t really event think Conklin was the killer and seemed too early in the book. Like >6 bhabeck: I am worried about the man Bosch saw in the hallway.

No. I also thought Mittel was at the bottom of it all. And agree with Brenda and Andrew..the guy in the suit is worrisome.

Yes - agree that the guy in the suit is someone suspicious, especially when the guard said that the visitors had gone home. I figured Bosch figured he was going to meet his mother's killer, and then the story did a 180.
