He'll stay on the force, maybe rebuild his house, continue to be a problem for management. I don't see the Jasmine thing going long term

I think he'll do that exact thing, >2 bhabeck:. I hope he has a nice time in Florida but its not going to be a long term relationship.

Harry will be reinstated to active duty and regrettably he will continue making tragic personal choices while solving crimes

I agree with >2 bhabeck:

I wonder if he will leave the force and possibly go private. If not I just see more antagonism ahead of him with internal affairs. By his age he really needs to take himself in hand and change the way he is going about life. You’d like to think events in this book will give him some closure.
I don’t really see a future ahead for him and Jazz.

I think he’ll go back to the LAPD. Pounds is gone, so that barrier no longer exists. i agree he’ll continue to get himself into trouble with his peers and superiors, but I don’t see him going solo, at least at this time Too much paperwork and headache for that…. I agree his time with Jasmine will be brief. I do not expect to see her more than a brief mentioned in the next book

Like Andrew, >6 Andrew-theQM:, I’d have thought he’d be better suited to private detection - no one to answer to but himself, but I think he’ll go back to his job. I don’t see a happy ever after for him with Jazz (nor anyone else for that matter).

Yes - agreed. Jazz is a short-term healing for them both. I don't know if he'll return to the force or go solo. There are pros and cons for each decision.
