Any thoughts as to the reason for Catherine’s disappearance and why she left the Body Farm so swiftly? Why the partially packed case but no sign of her at home?

The phone call might have been from Tracy Frost; I wouldn’t be at all surprised if she’d got to Catherine’s secret identity before the police did.
As for the packed case, but no sign of Catherine, I’m inclined to agree with Kim and Bryant that the killer might have taken her, (I can’t see any other explanation, otherwise).

I answered this is the previous question. I think she got spooked by the phone call from the press and was afraid she would be recognized. Not sure why she was not there, but don’t believe she was taken. There was no sign of a struggle. Maybe she heard the car pull up and she ran off. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I think she got scared and had to run off quickly.

I think she took flight because her identity was possibly discovered. I don;t think she will turn out to be the murderer or another victim.

I think she got scared when the police came back a second time. Something bad happened in her past but I don't necessarily think she's the murderer now.

She didn't want her past to become known to hr co-workers. She is is a private person who only wants to be known in her new persona.
