Did Kim’s plan put her team and others in danger? Was it a risk too far or an acceptable level of risk?

It wasn’t exactly a foolproof plan, but it seemed the best Stone could come up with; and her DCI had the chance to overrule her if he believed it to be unworkable.

It seemed too risky to me and rather crazy to use the civilians…but then the ending would have had to be re-written. 😀.

Her team did have the element of surprise, so that reduces the risk.

It was a plan that was not risk-free but it was the best she could have come up with at the time.

All plans and or operations have risk. Since it was known that the previous murders occurred at the site and the time line of each this was the only way to avoid Tracy being killed. Kim worked out the communication, partnership and location assignments by each persons ability;it was a plan that tried to minimize risk. The use of civilians not the best but go with what you have in the time frame you have. They were not ordered but asked to participate.

I feel like she thought the risk was better than the alternative.
