Should the team have picked up on Catherine’s connection to Graham? Did you feel at all sorry for Catherine?

If both children were in the system using the names they were being sought under, then Stacey should have found the connection. But this was such a complicated plot, looking back I have difficulty sorting out what was known at which point, ha!
To be honest, I lost any sympathy I had for Catherine when she turned on Kim.

Yes, this should have been caught earlier. I actually thought it was disingenuous of the author. Stacey or Kim would have spotted the connection, but it was deliberately withheld.

Like Sergei, any sympathy I might have had for Catherine disappeared when she attacked Kim.

Yes I felt sorry for Catherine but it did not justify her for having the two men murdered.

I have empathy for Catherine for the horrors she went through. She is responsible for her crimes.
Driven by her need for revenge she put her quid pro quo plan of murder into place. This to me indicates rational thought, she knew what she was doing. Empathy and sorry cannot trump the law.
This is a real tragedy. She also needs help.

She will be arrested and incarcerated but I think she'll find satisfaction in the fact the men are dead now.
