Top priority for me are two roundabout books, one straggler from the Favourites of 2021 roundabout and another new one from the Favourites of 2022 roundabout. Also, maybe I'll make a dent in the 18 new books I'd bought at a book sale last week.

I'm going to try for 3 books again in May but again there's library books waiting to be read so we'll see.

>3 gypsysmom: That's my problem too. Since borrowing library books is "guilt-free" (compared to buying books), I tend to borrow more than I can finish and end up neglecting all the books on my shelf.

I didn't make a dent in the pile of new books that I'd bought, but I did catch up on all my roundabout books, so I'm happy about that.

Amazingly, I actually read 4 TBR books in May. And I finished off 4 library books and have another on the go which I may finish up before the end of May. It's pretty short.

(I should probably add that my sister dropped off a whole box of books yesterday as she is moving and is clearing out her bookshelves. I passed on a lot of them but there are 12 that I decided to hold on to! Sigh!)

>5 gypsysmom: I too have the problem of people trying to give me their surplus books! :)
