My favourite vegetarian authors are ((Rose Elliott)) especially (Vegan Feasts), and (The Voluptuous Vegan) by ((Myra Kornfield)).
It is available in the USA and many European countries.
See the Quorn website.
I don't know if you are Vegan rather than Vegetarian (going off the books you mentioned
*ps. it's the square brackets that makes them come up in yr messages)
, but often Quorn uses egg in their products, making it unsuitable for Vegans
wonderlake: I am vegetarian, but seem to prepare mostly vegan food.
Thanks for the brackets tip.
There is also at least one similar Vegan product like the Quorn pieces but in my opinion lacking in the taste and texture of Quorn.
I will check with the local health food store who may be able to stock something by request. Thanks for the information and website, much appreciated.
When he emailed the company to ask why this was the case, they responded that they had tried the full range here in the UK, but consumers had only bought the yoghurts in quantities large enough to warrant their being stocked :(
