Another "un-Lovecraftian" Lovecraft here - no elder tomes or unnameable gods, only a Classical Greek setting and a simple tale of posthumous vengeance.
Mt Maenalus is a real place, the tallest mountain in Arcadia. No "sylvan dread" here, though, despite the talk of Pan in the opening.
Kalos' name means "beautiful" and Musides' "son of a/the Muse(s)".
