Group Read, Sept and October 2023: Nominations

Please nominate up to two books that you'd like as our group reads for September and October. Feel free to second as many nominated books as you like.

I would like to nominate Humphry Clinker and The Virgin Suicides.

I nominate David Mitchell, Cloud Atlas and T.C. Boyle, World's End. Have read both of JayneCM's nominations so I'm not seconding those.

I will second World's End then. It is hard for people who are further into the list than me!

Enduring Love by Ian McEwan?

Melmoth the Wanderer. It's long, but seasonally appropriate (for those that are into the whole Fall/Halloween/gothic reading thing).

I haven't read Melmoth the Wanderer and it does seem good for Halloween. So I second that.

Melmoth the Wanderer will be our October group read then.
