I have a copy of this under-rated and overlooked LEC volume. Way back in the dark ages when I was a member of the Heritage Club, I got a copy of that edition. I was enchanted by the art and the story. A while back, I bought a copy of the LEC predecessor in superb condition. The reproduction of the art is so much better here and to my mind, is stunning. You've done a good job of showing off this little gem. The tale is tragic, but it is, I think, a damn fine story.
I highly recommend adding this one to your LEC collection if you don't already have it.
