POLL RESULTS: PRESSMARK (i.e. Logo) QUESTION

Following Richard's lead here, I'm going to tabulate and announce the results for the pressmark (i.e. logo) question.

Here are Mark's designs, for reference:

First tab:

A1: 7
A2: 9
B1: 13
B2: 7
C1: 11
C2: 7

Wow, really quite close. Any of them could win. Gonna take a minute to tabulate which is eliminated from the three-way tie for last.

Second tab:

A1 Eliminated (-7)
A2: 15 (+6)
B1: 13
B2: 8 (+1)
C1: 11
C2: 7

Very interesting. All but one who had ranked A1 first put A2 as their second choice. A2 was my first choice, for the record. Happy to see it in the lead. Hopefully that holds ;-)

Third tab:

A1 Eliminated
A2: 17 (+2)
B1: 14 (+1)
B2: 10 (+2)
C1: 13 (+2)
C2 Eliminated (-7)

Interesting. Even distribution of C2's votes! This is gonna be clooose. Drats about B2 being next out the door – that was my second favorite. Is it unseemly for the ballot counter to actively root for certain choices?

Fourth tab:

A1 Eliminated
A2: 22 (+5)
B1: 14 (+0)
B2 Eliminated (-10)
C1: 18 (+5)
C2 Eliminated

An even split of B2's votes to A1 and C1! It's gonna be a photo finish! Where will the B1 crowd go? Do they care more about the rectangle or about the letters C and P not being ligatured??

A2: 26 (+4)
B1 Eliminated
B2 Eliminated
C1: 28 (+10)

Interesting. The unconnected letters led from the get-go, so I guess it's only fair they won in the end too. Glad this is sorted now!

Indeed.... My choices were exactly like yours - A2 clearly the best, followed by B2. Can we wait and see if there might be 3 extra mail-in ballots for A2 coming over the next couple of days? :)
