What should Gray do once Seichan was taken? What was his priority, rescuing Seichan or heading to Mongolia to rescue the satellite?

I think it was a bit out of character for him to leave her behind. He's risked himself several times to save her and vice versa.

Rescue Seichan. He won’t be able to focus on the task at hand if he goes to Mongolia before getting her back.

They had to try to rescue Seichan first but they had to do this quickly due to the ticking clock. Obviously saving the world was the biggest priority.

Sigma has other operatives they can send to Mongolia. As said above, Gray would not consider abandoning Seichan.

I was amazed that he didn't leave everything else to rescue her. Maybe they thought that taking her would slow Sigma down. They obviously haven't read the other 8 books in this series.

He needs to do both rescue Seichen and go to Mongolia but do it quickly.

Sigma being quasi special force operators, the mission is always paramount. The reason special op teams do not have members that are related or in relationships, also leave no one behind. Her rescue has built into the operation, the how will be forthcoming.
