Why do you think they tried to kill Rachel and Vigor again? Do you think it was them they wanted to kill or did they want to destroy the skull and book? Why?

I think they are after the book and skull. They would also want to eliminate anyone who knew anything about them.

To keep the information from getting out and as >2 Olivermagnus: the less living people the better kept the secrets.

I agree with >2 Olivermagnus: and >3 Carol420:. I think they want the skull and book to help find Genghis’s tomb and preserve his remains. —although it’s possible the attackers are tied to the ‘end of days’ prophecy and don’t want interference%. 🤷🏻‍♀️

The skull and book will be sacred for all Mongolians and they will go to any lengths to preserve them.
