So far this is my least favorite Sigma book. I thought the second section was much better than the first one so I'm not writing it off yet.

>2 Olivermagnus: I’m intrigued to know if Seichan and her mother section is eventually connected to the main theme of the book or if it is surplus. If so it is an extra layer of confusion that is not needed.

There seems to be too many storylines going on at the same time and nothing is really connecting yet...or my brain is just tired. I agree with >2 Olivermagnus: about it being my least favorite of the Sigma Force series.

>2 Olivermagnus: >3 Andrew-theQM: >4 Carol420: Most of the Sigma Force have had excellent ratings from us, but The Judas Strain only got 3.67

An amazing statistic that 1 in every 200 people alive on earth was a descendant of Genghis Khan. Wow!

>7 Andrew-theQM: yes! Crazy! You’d think with that connection we’d all get along a bit better……or did Genghis Khan’s lust for power infiltrate all 1 in 200?

I feel more engaged by the adventures of Gray and Co in Hong Kong and North Korea than I am by the Mongolian end of things. The former has all of the edge of the seat excitement that I recall from the last of these that we read.

>7 Andrew-theQM: fascinating

I agree with >4 Carol420: I am just lost in this story as nothing is connecting to anything else.
13Andrew-theQM
>12 EadieB: I’m sure James Rollins will bring it all together in the end.
