Why did you think they lost the feed from Duncan when he was diving for the satellite?

My two thoughts interference from the satellite and possible water got into the receiver.

I put it down to the satellite. (Or the dark energy captured within the gyroscope.)

I thought it might have to do with the magnets in his hands and how they work in water.

Yes for me the dark energy overloading the communication system and shutting it down.

I agree with everyone. On the other hand...They could have had my old cable company when I lived in Florida.
