Any other thoughts, comments or questions about the fourth section?

We are travelling back from Scotland today, so it will be Tuesday before I have a chance to finish the section and post the questions, apologies for the delay.

>2 Andrew-theQM: safe travels enjoy. If I knew you were going I would have sent you my kilts to wear, not Scottish however, Irish Galway. They were made for our youngest daughter’s wedding in 2008

>3 JohnDBurke: Thanks, had a good journey roads quite quiet. Kilts would have worked well, my wife loves a man in a kilt lol! We spend a lot of time in Scotland, like our second home.

No problem, Andrew, I’ve just this minute finished section 4 myself.

I could use some time to mull over all the details of the plot, which I find more confusing than usual. Have a wonderful time!

>7 bluebird_: Thanks and not a surprise, it’s a big book that takes a lot of reading.

>6 Olivermagnus: Thanks, it is a very complex book, that challenges your knowledge and thinking.

What a wonderful thing to be able to do! Have a safe trip, Andrew. If I was going to live in Europe it would be either Scotland or Ireland, I grew up in both cultures with my grandparents. My mother was only 2 years old when she came to the U.S. with her parents and her 4-year-old sister, so she doesn't remember either country, although she was born in Ireland, County Tyron, in the village of Moy. I visited Scotland with my grandfather when he last visited what was left of his family, when I was 9 years old. They lived in a place called Balnakeil (not sure if it's spelled right)...but he worked for a time in the shipyard that I believe was located on the River Clyde. I remember him telling me that it had closed or was sold or something and he went to Belfast where his brother was working and that's where he met my grandmother. Yes...he had kilts and bagpipes...much to his American neighbor's horror. I loved them!

>2 Andrew-theQM: No problems Andrew but much envy. My husband and I were supposed to be in Edinburgh this week but it did not work out. Ah well- next time!

John looks really good in his kilt. The wedding was very cool and we had bagpipers too.

>13 EadieB: Sounds absolutely awesome! I loved seeing my gramps in his kilt....and there is no such thing as too much bagpipe. I drag my poor hubby to every Irish and Scottish festive in a 100-mile radius. He can't stand bagpipes (strange man)...but he goes for me. Not an Irish or Scottish bone in his entire body. When the police pipe band used to play at funerals and other law enforcement events he asked if he could use ear plugs. His captain asked him if he would enjoy a few months of patrol duty. He took that as a big no to the ear plugs.

>14 Carol420: Whoops, don’t think his Captain liked that comment.
