The team were saved by the sudden emergence of the Triad. Had you been expecting this or was it a total surprise?

This was a complete surprise to me! (A pleasant one) I thought we would see them in a future book..not again so soon. But on reflection, this made sense and I should have seen it coming. I missed that we never were told who found Rachel before she died and did not think it was the Triad.

I knew they were going to be saved but the triad and Seichan’s mother showing up was a pleasant surprise.

I only knew somewhere in the the storyline Seichan and her mother would meet up again, what better way than a rescue.

Like the rest of you, I expected to see them again but thought it to be in a future book.

I had a feeling that they might pop up, just a vague feeling though. Couldn’t see any other way for them to get out of it.

Seichan's mother showing up again was a given. There are some predictable moments in any novel, I think and this was always one. It was just a matter of when they would show up.
