What did you think of the ending when Vigor joined the Eye with the cross? What about the ending of the book?

I actually liked it. Although I found much of this book crazy and wacky, the resolution was good and made sense. I liked that everyone, including Jada’s Mom got together for the viewing party. Lol. I also liked that the Triad has taken control of Macau and Seichan and Mom are helping the women and children.
The whole last section in the alternate reality was over the top. However, Rollins centered this book on some actual fringe scientific theories (with no evidence to the contrary at this time), so there is a slim chance the multiverse is real and we have alternate lives out there.

>2 bluebird_: Frightening to think of more than one of me out there 🙈😱

I felt overall it was a strong ending and quite a simplistic solution to the problem, even if it did kill Vigor in the process. Really sorry to see his demise and that of Rachel. I liked Rachel.

I felt liking cheering at the end that he saved the world. Although the ending was a bit sad at Rachel and Vigor’s death.

Vigor saving the world through his personal sacrifice joining the objects together saves the world, but I don't think this is the end of the story for Rollins. I will try to explain in the next question.

I thought it was a good ending and a compelling exit for Vigor and Rachel. I liked how joyful everyone felt in the end.

I thought that the ending was fine and liked the way that respect was paid to Vigo and Rachel's sacrifices.
However I did not like the 'Tails' chapter. It seemed to undercut the actual ending of the book with it's acknowledgement of the realities of life. I am dubious about the multiverse concept I admit.

>8 Maura49: "There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio, than are dreamt of in your philosophy." I have to 100% agree with everyone about the ending. about the ending. "Alls well that ends well". >3 Andrew-theQM: Just think of the time you could save if there was another you.
