Is there a way besides one at a time to delete books from holdings? Home school is through, so I am sharing MANY books for young children, and I need to eliminate them from my list.

Yes, you can use the Power Edit function. It's the yellow lightning bolt icon on the top of your catalog.

You might want to consider moving them to a different collection, to keep the information about what books you used.

>3 MarthaJeanne: How do I move them to a new collection as a group? I went to Power edit, but couldn't figure out once I checked a bunch, to change them en masse.

>4 Klinda: Look at the top of the screen where you selected them. The default tab is Tags but next to it, there is the collections tab. Once you are there, you choose the collections and if you want to add or remove the books from them. Note that if you want to move them, it will need to be done in 2 steps - add to the new one and then Remove from the old one. One tip: if you tell it to remove a book from a collection it is not in or add to a collection it is already in, it won’t error out - nothing will happen to this book. So in collections with no overlaps, it is safe to select all books and remove the other one from all of them - even if only a few books really overlap. :) I often use that when I move books between non overlapping collections.
PS: Create the new collection before you go into power edit so it shows up as an option to put the books into. The editor for collections is reached from their list at the top of the catalog (and a few other places but that may be the easiest).

I would like to remove a book from my collection. When I go to delete it, Librarything asks if I want to delete it from all collections. The answer is no, I only want to delete it from mine. How do I remove a title from my collection?

>6 WaFAC_Library: When it says "All collections", it means all of YOUR collections - i.e. "Your library" and "Read but unowned" if you have a book in both for example and the warning is always there even if the book is in only 1 collection. It won't delete it from anyone else's catalog.
If you do not want the book in your catalog anymore, just agree to the deletion :)
