Can I just check, as there's no indication on the website (as far as I can see). Have LoA resumed shipping abroad yet, and if not does anybody know whether they will? A post on another thread back in 2021 suggested they might at some stage. My interest is UK.

As far as I know, they don’t. I emailed and asked about resuming shipping to Canada about a year ago and the answer wasn’t very encouraging. I would suggest emailing their customer service, they respond promptly.

Not sure if other expats living in Europe or elsewhere know this, but if you are ordering from Amazon -- because of the ongoing NON-shipping situation with LOA -- and would prefer NOT to do so: Barnes & Noble also ships orders to the Australia/New Zealand area and, I believe, to Europe and the UK (can't say for 100 percent certainty, because I don't live there and haven't signed up for the B&N site which provides that service. Because I don't approve of most of the stuff Bezos and Co. (sold or not, it's still his monster) usually do, I only used Amazon when I had no other choice (Book Depository was a go to for a long while -- then Amazon bought them out and shut them down).
I stumbled across Barnes & Noble Australia/New Zealand last year, and, voila! Ordering books from the USA has never been easier (maybe it's because B&N focuses mainly on books and movies).

You can pick your shipping speeds, too; and they give ya coupons -- LOL -- for ordering regularly, and have discounts on a variety of books, new and old, from time to time. I just ordered the new LeGuin volume and it'll be here early next week (along with another book I ordered). Not sure of all the ins & outs, and maybe it's because I recently selected a faster shipping speed, but...so far, when the books come from the East Coast, via UPS, they get here to Australia double-quick. The two (or maybe it's been three) orders I saw shipping out from the West Coast (Cali) went via Asendia, and they took about 2 to 3 weeks (depending on weather -- there in the USA, mostly -- and/or holidays). Still, not too bad.
Here's the link I've seen for B&N Euro UK. Never tried signing up or ordering, of course, because I don't live there. But I imagine it would be as reliable as the B&N Australia link:

You have to sign up with one of those links if you live outside the USA, in Europe or in my vicinity. Otherwise, if you go straight to the US-based B&N link, it'll say they don't ship outside of the United States and/or to various countries.

I don't think you can order in the UK... was trying to sign up just to give it a go, and you can sign up but it doesn't seem like United Kingdom (or Great Britain, England, Britain or UK) are in the list of countries for choosing a shipping location.

I'd love to see the LOA offering overseas shipping again. I have around 130 of the Main Series in slipcases and would prefer to continue in that vein rather than buy the dust jacket versions on Amazon.

>6 LesMiserables: same. I can use a shipping service to Canada, but costs more and it’s a bit of a pain. I love LOA, perfect reading size and excellent selection.

In the UK, Blackwell's is often a good source of LoA books.
Looks like LoA's blank on shipping outside North America is pretty permanent. Not sure why given it was introduced with COVID (IIRC), but it's massively disappointing.

Same thoughts from France… It's been years now that I am hoping for an update on the subject, alas, still the same Covid excuse on their website… I've been thinking about sending an email recently to ask them about any new informations. Maybe many voices will make them change their mind?

>9 martin.ptrwsk: DCloyceSmith has in the past been a wonderful ambassador for the LOA on LT and a font of knowledge. Not sure if he is still active on these forums to give some insight.

For what it's worth, shipping within the US is very slow. I ordered a book on August 30 and didn't receive it until September 20. At least the shipping was free.
