I just finished the Women's Murder Club Series. I am now starting the Michal Bennett series. Any of you Patterson fans? What's your favorite series?

Somehow, after decades of mystery reading, I have never sampled a James Patterson--which is hard to do, as he's everywhere. Any recommendations for someone who generally prefers cozy mysteries to thrillers?

I find the crime novels of James Patterson to be an acquired taste. I read his recent novel which he co-wrote with former US President Bill Clinton and it was interesting, but there were too many cardboard characters, especially the killer.
The I read his novel The Russian, the most recent of his novels featuring the character of New York Detective Michael Bennett. I found that novel to be a much more successful piece of writing. The murder victims were still cardboard characters, but you can't have everything. Overall it's a very successful and suspenseful novel. Bravo. I'm glad I read it.
