All of Baum's Oz works are in the public domain and would make for a handsome collection in several volumes, especially if the edition contains all of his Oz works:

With Wicked being such a big hit, this would've been good to have.

That would be a great LOA set. Particularly if they do a volume dedicated to all of the illustrations!

This would be very nice and I'd love if it included also Sea Fairies and Sky Island, which share characters with the Oz books.

As mentioned in the above-linked Wiki article, there are more: "In addition to the canonical Oz books, several of Baum's works that are not Oz stories are nevertheless nominally set in the same fictional universe as the Oz books, and include several character crossovers. These are: Queen Zixi of Ix, The Magical Monarch of Mo, The Sea Fairies, Sky Island, The Life and Adventures of Santa Claus, and John Dough and the Cherub."

There are also a few short story books as well. A truly complete Oz universe would be fantastic.

Perhaps a separate series specializing in children’s books would be appropriate, but I wouldn’t want to see children’s books in the main series.

I have finished the first four in the series. I download PDFs from the Internet Archive, because the illustrations are important.

Baum’s ability to create memorable new characters in each book is prodigious.
