Any initial thoughts on the tattoo?

It sounds like a gang of some sort.

The tattoo could be used in order to identify the body. If he is local or not.

It does look as though the tattoo relates to some group, or commonly held values. Still to work out exactly how this helps us, time will tell.

Yes, it should help to identify the body. From the description, it certainly could be a gang tattoo..but I’m suspecting it’s not. I do think it will help lead us to his killer.

There’ll be a story behind it.
