Douglas Noakes’s right hand finger prints were on the gun, but he was left handed. Any thoughts what this might mean?

I felt like his children could be suspects but they would know he was left handed. I still think he and his wife were murdered and murder/suicide used as a cover up.

I think they were murdered too.

It is Murder!

More confirmation that it was murder and staged. Clearly whoever set it up didn’t know he was left handed!

>2 Olivermagnus: I think it more likely to be connected to the research and not one of their children, but could be wrong on this.

>2 Olivermagnus: and >5 Andrew-theQM: I couldn’t agree more. What I can’t quite get is why both of them were killed if it wasn’t murder-suicide or parricide.

Most definitely a staged murder scene. I'm beginning to sense there is a lot more to the research angle however

Agree with you all. Staged murder-suicide. Likely by someone associated with the research study—but the killer isn’t too familiar with Douglas since he didn’t realize he’s left handed. Maybe a former subject—or the loved one of a subject who suffered from the study (died or became severely ill)

This evidence points towards a double-murder. Agree with >9 bluebird_: that it could be a former subject, and the murderer included his wife either because she walked in on an argument that was leading to murdering Douglas, or the killer decided to frame it as a murder-suicide and killed her for cover.
