Jem Taylor had a cold, and was told he couldn’t take any vitamin C. Any initial thoughts as who told him or why, or any other connections?

I assumed it had something to do with the vaccine study.

Yes, not taking Vitamin C when one has a cold is a very odd request. And it makes me wonder whether Nathan was involved in the vaccine study as well.
