Any thoughts on the bowl and basket they found in the outhouse? Why keep a dog secretly?

I wondered the same thing. I think someone is using the dog to scare people about the legend of the Black Shuck.

Dodgy scientific shenanigans would be my guess. I could be wrong now. But I don't think so.

It makes you think someone is trying to stoke the Black Shuck legend.

I still think Noakes has been testing on dogs - maybe this one is a survivor, whereas the buried dog didn’t make it?

I think the bowl and basket are kept for a large dog owned by the farm.
