Any thoughts about why Alan was killed, and by whom?

I think whatever he was alluding to with Cathbad put him in danger. That person probably was the killer.

By whom? Not yet. Why because he knows what really going on. Well he knew at this point.

He knew too much and had to be silenced. Now if we only knew what he did, likely pivotal information about what is going on. David is suddenly a big suspect for me.

I think David may have killed Alan.

We’ve been given nothing, as per usual, no insight whatsoever into what Alan might have put together.

Not enough information yet, but my two main suspects are David and Paul

I suspect either David or Paul. But how would they know what Alan knew? That's the part I can't figure out.
